Beatitudes Community

In Memoriam

Our and prayers go to the family of former Beatitudian, Candelario Chacon.  “Chacon” as he was called, worked as a Lead Cook in our dining services department from May 2010 to 2013.  He was killed instantly in an auto over President's Day weekend.

The last few months have brought news of several losses of Campus residents and former staff members.  Just as a reminder, our chaplains are available to speak to any staff member needing .  Their offices are located in the Life Center.  The Beatitudes Campus also has a free Employee Assistance with telephonic and in-person counseling available to all full-time staff and their household members.  It is completely anonymous and can be accessed at 1-800-511-3920.

At the foundation of Beatitudes Campus is the vision of Church of the Beatitudes pastors and congregation members to create a better alternative for older adults than the nursing homes of the early 1960s. The type of community they imagined was the first of its kind in Arizona. Beatitudes Campus is proud to continue the legacy of our founders, by being a leader in the field of aging services for over 50 years.
