Beatitudes Community

What a CARING Community We Have at Beatitudes!

CAREcorps-trans-smWith over 20 resident groups on campus dedicated to helping others, it's difficult to quantify the positive impact our residents have on the campus and the greater community. Add to that, the countless things you do to help one another and your contributions to outside volunteer groups and faith communities. The care and love our residents spread every day is immeasurable!

CAREcorps is a project Resident Services and Spiritual Life have been working on together for nearly a year, in order to promote our outstanding, and opportunities for residents to help one another. CAREcorps is a philosophy that embodies our Beatitudes Campus Core Values of , Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. Many of you have already been helping us uplift our CAREcorps philosophy by recognizing your neighbors who do selfless deeds around campus. Over the past four weeks, we've had a steady supply of resident recognition slips in the CAREcorps boxes, which are located in the Recreation Center, the Gift Shop and Plaza View. Thank you! Each time you recognize another resident, a note is delivered to their door to show our appreciation for their contributions.

To further promote the wonderful opportunities that exist on campus to help others, we will be hosting our first CAREcorps on Community Wednesday, 31st, in the Life Center from 1-3PM. At the CAREcorps Open House, new and existing residents can learn about and help us celebrate the many groups on campus that serve others. At the foundation of Beatitudes Campus is the vision of Church of the Beatitudes pastors and congregation members to create a better alternative for older adults than the homes of the early 1960s. The type of community they imagined was the first of its kind in Arizona. Beatitudes Campus is proud to continue the legacy of our founders, by being a leader in the field of services for over 50 years.
