If you missed the May All Staff, you missed a lot of great information. Rod Bailey (Marketing) gave some great advice on how to make a lasting First impression. Tara Bethell (HR) took us through how our WIGS are doing across the campus. Michelle Just (Admin) told us about how the campus is doing financially (up 8% for the year!) and gave us some insight on how soon we are looking at starting the redevelopment. We featured all the awards the campus has won recently like 3rd place in the Fit Company challenge and 12th in the Healthiest Employers. There were a ton of shout Outs, radical hospitality mentions, and Congratulations too! Krystal Dickinson-Sophiea (Life Enrichment) and Dawn Bru (Dining) won a bouquet of flowers each. Collin Miller (Security) won a massage gift card. Frances Figuccio (Admin) won a travel cup. We snacked on cupcakes and fruit kabobs. The best part though was the blind flower drawing game we had in the beginning. Chet Hughes (Maintenance), Michael Smallwood (Life Enrichment), Cammy Clevenger (Finance), Didi Cruz (Life Enrichment), Than Say (Laundry), Steve Carreon (Maintenance), Jeremy Anderson (Maintenance), and Chris Mason (Life Enrichment) all teamed up and had one person blindfolded and one person guiding them to draw a flower. Chet was declared the winner by crowd cheers but, Steve definitely had the best runway walk.
Be sure to keep the quarterly employee appreciation event on your calendar. The next one is June 23rd from 10:30AM to 1:30PM. It's going to be Diamondback themed so get ready to be taken out to the ball game!
