It's that time of year again, the “most wonderful time of the year”, christmas. Over the years, we have ventured on various journeys across the valley to explore the beautiful decorations, lights, joy and spirit that our community graciously extends for our viewing pleasure. The time, efforts and commitment by these individuals is much appreciated and we are happy that we have the opportunity to transport our residents to view all of their hard work and support the cause and joy of the holidays. This year, we will be trying something new by traveling to a drive-through display which is, “The world's largest animated drive-through holiday light show”.
This show features over 2 million LED lights and synchronized to the tunes of holiday classics. Join us for a holiday experience like no other. This one night event will take place on Wednesday, December 18th with a 6:00PM departure time. We will be taking 6 vehicles and seating is limited to 52 Independent Living residents, depending if wheelchair space is needed. Life Enrichment staff will be accommodating residents from Assisted Living and the Heath Care Center on a separate activity.
Tickets for this event will be available at the Transportation office or by calling x12905. The cost for each ticket will be $3.50 that will be billed to your account. Please call in your reservations by December 13th as, again, seating is limited. This trip will be approximately 2 hours long and a restroom break will be provided if necessary.
