Off the Beaten Path

Our campus has many wonderful gems that may go undetected depending upon your daily path. On Myrtle Ave., we have an Arbor or so the sign on the gate tells us. To me, it's more like a beautiful dog park requiring a FOB to enter. As we south from the Arbor, we should notice another park which is equipped with horseshoe pits. No FOB required to enter this gated green space. Coming on down we can enter Plaza North and if we go to the 5th floor, we will find the campus room which is equipped with a kitchen and over-the-air TV channels being beamed from South Mountain antennas. Back to the parking lot, there is a personnel gate west of Plaza North on 17th Dr., again requiring a FOB. Staying inside that gate, we can walk down to the Center and look for our meditation room nestled near an exit in the far south-east corner. Once we are properly relaxed and at peace, we might venture into the pool area (another FOB area) where there is a huge gas grille. Finishing off your grilled corn (in season), why not try to find the Matters located to the east of the Agelink building, that being tricky if the Success Matters office is closed. There are other locations that you may or may not have yet explored such as our rose garden, the computer lab, the ceramics room, the sewing room, the wood-working shop and some nooks and crannies where one might find a ping-pong table or a reading table for the visually impaired or a computer with WorxHub installed to make that work-order request. And don't forget the fireplaces that can be lit by staff to show off our campus when your off-campus friends come to visit.
