The Beatitudes Experience

“There's just something about this place.” It's a phrase I hear often since joining Beatitudes Campus! I have to agree, it's true. There is an energy and positivity here on campus that is hard to explain. In marketing, it's called a brand experience – and it is something that we marketers work hard to capture, communicate and share with the outside world.

As some of you have heard me say, helping future potential residents experience Beatitudes Campus is a big part of our marketing strategy. In addition to arranging tours with individuals exploring senior living options, one of our most effective means to create a brand experience is through our .

Because our residents are such a major part of our brand experience, we want to create opportunities for our residents to engage with our prospective residents. Our Director of Future Engagement, Jonathan Gibbs, has been hard at work putting together an exciting year of 2023 brand experiences that do just that!

Among these experiences, this coming Tuesday, January 24, we have a very special expert panel event happening: Finding with Dementia, sponsored by AARP. Our panel of experts includes:

  • Pierre Tariot, MDDirector, Banner Alzheimer's Institute – Dr. Pierre Tariot's has led to FDA approval of medications, and research support from NIA, NIMH and the Alzheimer's Association®.
  • Jan Dougherty, MS, RN, FAANAuthor and Dementia Care Expert – Jan Dougherty is a noted and author, and serves on the forefront of the Dementia Friendly America® movement.
  • Tena Alonzo, MA – Founder, Director of Comfort Matters® – Beatitudes Campus' own, Tena Alonzo, is an expert in for people with thinking and memory disorders; and, her work has been published in dozens of scholarly journals and featured in national media.

Moderated by Kathy Ritchie, KJZZ Senior Field Correspondent, this promises to be a hope-filled and candid about dementia, along with helpful strategies and therapies. We are excited to highlight Beatitudes Campus' Comfort Matters® program and share how it brings help and hope to our residents and families. While we have very few seats remaining at this point, we will be video recording the event, and will be sharing it on our internal community channel in the coming week.

This is just the of our many other 2023 brand experiences, Jonathan has been carefully cultivating. We have many other events coming up, including a Music & Wine series. The first one in the series will be on February 17th, so save the date – and keep your eyes peeled for more details to come.
