Congratulations – Kimberly Shull

Kimberly Shull (Grounds) was recently promoted to Grounds Manager! Kimberly just joined the campus in November of this year and has worked incredibly hard to get this position. She has shown her dedication to her work as well as to the residents. Any time someone has a special request for their particular area she is quick to help just to make everyone happy. We can’t wait to see how she transforms the campus with her artful eyes.

Congratulations to Jessica Rojas (Housekeeping) for her recent transition to the Floor Tech position. Jessica joined the campus back in December of 2013 in our Housekeeping department. She now wanted to learn more to help with the needs of the department. She’s happy to join the floors team and we wish her the best of luck in her future work!

Deana Mendoza (Housekeeping) has transferred to the Floor Tech position! She joined the campus in November of 2014 as a Housekeeper and now is looking for ways to expand her knowledge and skills for her department. The current floors team is glad to have her and we know she will do great there!

Ivan has really been showing off how hard of a worker he is and how he can lead his coworkers when they need support. His dedication has really paid off though with this recent promotion. The blushing bride and groom had an amazing ceremony with their loving family and friends around them. Chris and Krystal met here at the campus and began dating soon after that. It truly has been a magical journey for them both and now they get to look forward to the happily ever after. We are so happy for them and can not wait to see their love grow even more for the years to come.

Beashu has been with the campus since June of 2015 and has been a dedicated Housekeeping employee. We know how difficult of a process going for your citizenship can be but Beashu work extremely hard to complete it. Congratulations to Cheryl Knupp, senior vice president of health services, for graduating from the National LeadingAge Leadership Academy at the annual meeting in Indianapolis. Her year long experience included personal and professional reflection, site visits to other aging services providers and an action learning project which you will hear more about in the coming month. Cheryl joins a network of 300 other academy alumni fellows within LeadingAge  association, two of which are Campus leaders.

img_1055 img_1056Congratulations to Tena Alonzo (Comfort Matters) for her new grandbabies! Howell and Vyse Watson were born recently weighing in at 6.3 pounds, 19 and 1/4 inches long and 6.5 pounds, 19 inches long respectively. Devon Taylor (Mom) and the babies are doing great and all the grandparents are celebrating. Don’t spoil them too much Tena!

 

We would like to apologize for the previous week’s mistakes on the babies weight and height as well as the mother’s name. No, the babies were not born jolly green giants although I’m sure they are very jolly. We are glad to know there are so many people reading TeamTalk though!

This is an incredible achievement for her and it took a lot of time and effort to accomplish. We are so happy for her as this will allow her to further advance in her career! Krystal has been with the campus since September of 2005, just recently celebrating her 11 year anniversary, 8 of which she has been a Dining Room Supervisor! She now is taking on a much more extensive role in handling all our internal and external catering! We are so excited for her and we know she will do great in this new role.

Vivienne, nickname Vivi, was born to Melody’s daughter Miranda on August 9th at 7:40AM and was 7 pounds 5 ounces and 20 inches long. She was born in Denver, Colorado and joins her big sister, Violet who is 3 years old. We are so happy for you Melody and congratulations!
