I recently had a respite person leave at 2:30pm and someone new that was arriving at 3pm and the gals did an amazing job of getting in there and getting the room cleaned and ready for the next resident in record time. Awesome job yesterday at our quarterly home companion meeting focusing on re-positioning and pressure ulcers for our bed bound clients. Everyone really enjoyed it being interactive with the mannequin and with takeaways.

I discovered half-way through the day-shift that the nursing staff was working short. You would never have known as these three terrific women (Felicia Gay, Sarina Clifton, and Michelle Curley) worked effortlessly to care for the residents of Sierra Springs on a very busy weekday. They never complained once and until it was pointed out it was never obvious they were working short staffed. This is a prime example of effective teamwork and caring for the residents regardless of the obstacle ahead. The residents, the neighborhood, and your peers all thank you for making today work.
