By now, you have likely heard the very sad news that our beatitudes Campus founder, Dr. Culver H. (Bill) Nelson, passed away on Friday April 14, 2019. Beatitudes Campus has lost a visionary leader and our community has lost an amazing soul.
Those of us who have been fortunate to know and work with Dr. Nelson have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Fifty-five years ago, he created a vision of serving older adults so they could live, learn and grow through all the stages of their lives. His vision was so big and so vibrant that it will never truly be finished. Each of us has taken up that dream and been inspired by Dr. Nelson to move it forward.
No words can adequately express our sadness at Dr. Nelson's death or our gratitude for the opportunity to know him, work with him and continue his vision. We will honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to carrying on Dr. Nelson's legacy into the future.
