Be a Community Wednesday

The idea sprung up in the design studio four or so years ago.  It reached fertile ground at the Residents Council with a unanimous vote to proclaim it.  Now with rousing support for the idea developed by residents, Wednesday afternoons were declared to be as free as possible from other activities so as to encourage full community gatherings for events held during that time.  Brilliant idea!

Town Halls, Residents Council Meetings, Wednesday sundaes with dave and the Community Welcome Coffees with New Residents each have their own assigned Wednesday with the hopes that the greatest amount of community participation is possible.  Community is at its greatest when connected.  Events begin at 2:00PM with a community gathering time for the first 15 minutes and programs starting at 2:15PM.

Your participation makes us stronger!  Community Town Halls are filled with information for the up and coming month and educational things too (and most months you can stock up on fresh produce too!) Your Residents Council is your voice for what you think will make our community all the stronger.  Come support your leaders.  Wednesday Sundaes with Dave is an opportunity to devour as much yogurt sundaes as you want and talk to me about any good things or challenging things that you may want to share with me.  It is really an amazing social time with your neighbors.  The Community Welcome Coffee with New Residents is your opportunity to extend radical hospitality and welcome to our newest community members.  You will be inspired, all over again, once you hear why they chose to live with us.

Here is the line-up for the month of March—

1st Wednesday at 2:00PM (LC) Community Town Hall

2nd Wednesday at 2:00PM (LC) Community Residents Council

3rd Wednesday at 2:00PM (PB) Wednesdays Sundaes with Dave

4th Wednesday at 2:00PM (LC) Community Welcome Coffee with New Residents

So make Community Wednesdays your priority to attend and you will not be sorry.  Help build up our community by being present whenever you can.  You simply will not find a greater group of people anywhere if you can make it to any Beatitudes Community Wednesdays.
